Sen. Obama - The Chameleon

I was a stanch supporter of Barack Obama, but as of late, I have had second thoughts.

The Senator is starting to change right before my eyes like a chameleon. It is beyond an empty suit, he has become a full fledged flim-flam man 0r in today's terms - a flip-flopper.

Are there any others that are starting to feel used like a tool?

Jesus Claus

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Jesus Claus. Though I did not know him personally, we had talked a lot on PT.

He was always cordial, funny, and entertaining. His intellect was matched by very few, it will be missed as much as he will.

I remember when he was trying to get me to write for the Ratttler. I respectfully declined, but told him I appreciated the offer. Now, I wish I had.

May you find peace, Mark.

Perpetual Campaigning

Is it me, or has this political process been to long?

When can one find the sanity from the year and a half campaigning we receive via airwaves?

In November? Are you crazy? Yes, I am a political junkie, but I have to admit, I have had my fix.

So my question is simple - Have you?

Wesley Clark

Has Wesley Clark over stepped his bounds by claiming John McCain, as a prisoner of war, is not qualified as a leader because he was never tested or in command during his military service?

There is a point to be made by Gen. Clark, however, I believe it was not necessary for him to bring up at this time.

What is your opinion on it?

John McCain -- The Underdog?

Is John McCain the underdog? And if he is, how will he be able to pull off a victory in November?

Granted, it is early in the season, but it is a question that intrigues me.

The Supreme Court's Decision on Gun Bans

I find the Supreme Court decision on gun bans was correct, but Anthony Scalia had to give one of the most pathetic opinions I have ever read.

He quotes that he goes strictly by the constitution, but in his opinion, he claims the reason we should except the reverse of the gun ban is because a pistol is a better weapon of defense when on is dialing a phone.

I can almost envision the founding fathers thinking about phones and pistols when they crafted the Second Amendment. I am sure they envisioned some of the weapons that have been created in present day. I do believe there should be certain regulations on weapons, but not to the point that it is difficult for the law biding citizen to obtain a weapon.

What is your opinion?

The Barack and Hillary Tour

Is it me or is there love in the air? What is everyone's opinion about these two cape crusaders running around the universe trying to recoup Hillary's losses?

And, is Hillary a viable candidate for Sen. Obama or will she bring him down?

I believe what Jimmy Carter said -- A Nightmare Ticket!

Whether Democrat or Republican, which direction do you think the next president should take?

I have my opinion on the matter, but it might sound like it has too much common sense attached to it.

So, I want to hear you, the people's opinions.

John McCain - Bush III

It has been said that John McCain is going to be another coming of the Bushes. He is going to be Bush III.

If this is true, in what way will he continue the Bush legacy, but if he is not explain how you will view his term, if he is elected President.

Are we starting to see the real Barack Obama?

It appears that Sen. Obama has flip on a few issues, namely the issue of public financing and the wire tapping bill that he just agreed to in the Senate.

Are these of things to come? Is he willing to flip on other issues that are going to coming up soon, and if he is, what could they possibly be?

You call this change? It sounds like the same old Washington bureaucrat to me.

I am or was a Obama supporter, but now, I hesitate. I am starting to get a really bad whiff of bullshit coming down the pike. I am rethinking my position on this man, and the candidacy he is running.

Anyone else feeling the same thing?

Hillary and her desperate ways

Once again, we see the Clintons rearing their ugly heads. As Hillary tries to deflect any questions about her being under fire in Bosnia, she attempts to frame Obama's domestic economic speech as being just words.

I have to wonder how is he going to convey his message; through sign language?

Hillary's negative rating is worse than that of Senator McCain and Senator Obama. The question is simple - Should she continue her barrage of misstatements to the determent of her campaign, and even perhaps, to the determent of the Democratic Party?

The Democratic Primary

We are now entering a time where Hillary Clinton must win Texas and Ohio, or her presidential run is over.

As we hear her talk about Barack Obama's lack of experience, we must wonder how well he will do as president.
If how he has ran his primary campaign is any indication on how well he will do as president, I believe he will be fine.
